Exceptional guest houses with pools and gardens at the gates of Carcassonne

In the heart of the Corbières, a few kilometers from the City of Carcassonne and Lagrasse abbey, the Domaine de Montlaur offers three charming and prestigious guest houses with swimming pools. Refined linens, well-being treatments, beautifull  private gardens, historical and gourmet discoveries, œnotourism, horseback riding ... slow life as you ever dreamed.

  •                THE COTTAGE

  •         THE INTENDANT PAVILION

  •           THE BASTIDE SUITE

A shaded two-hectare park, a spectacular avenue of plane trees, sheltered by high walls, the Domaine de Montlaur seems to live out of time. Former property of Edouard Niermans,  the famous architect of the Belle Epoque, this place of memory is an invitation to the sweetness of life in cathar country.

The spirit of the place... An Italian-style park, a spectacular avenue of oriental platanes trees, a few kilometers from the sea, the Cathar castles, the abbeys of Lagrasse and Fonftroide, the DOMAINE DE MONTLAUR seems to live on the bangs of the world. Owned by the same family for nearly a century, this timeless place welcomes tourists in residence.

A very beautiful watercolor of our Italian host Filippo, the avenue of platanes trees and the castle seen by the painter Christian Bastian. The park of the DOMAINE DE MONTLAUR is an invitation to painting and artistic creation.
